Today’s featured yo-yo under the title “Good For Your Yo-Yo Collection (recommended by REWIND)” is YoYoFactory’s Catch 22.
“Catch 22” is a reissue of a yo-yo released by Yo-Yo Factory in 2008 in a limited quantity.
At the time, the pioneering design and the combination of an aluminum body and titanium rim were fresh and drew a lot of attention.
Fourteen years later, the yo-yo was back again with a titanium body and POM edge on February 22, 2022, in honor of the name “Catch 22”.
While the number of titanium yo-yos has been increasing recently, the unique size and shape of this yo-yo has a strong individuality not found in other yo-yos.
It is housed in a hard case made by Pelican Products, Inc. of California, U.S.A. (a world-class waterproof, dustproof, and durable case used by the U.S. military as well). This is another point in common with the original “Catch 22”.
