HiDRA

Designed to maximize spin time, HiDRA is a full metal yo-yo that’s easy to love.

HiDRA was created to be the ultimate step-up model for beginners looking to break into the full metal game. While most players’ first yo-yo is a plastic model, everything changes when you switch to metal, which gives you power and potential that can’t be had with plastic alone. To enhance this further the HiDRA has a bumped area around the recessed response pads, keeping the string from rubbing the body and causing sleep loss. The result is a yo-yo that spins for what seems like an eternity!

Fitting into your hand comfortably, the HiDRA is sized to fall in line with modern yo-yo trends. Great as your main throw or a stepping stone into the world of full metal, hail HiDRA!

FiRROX

firrox

A large stainless steel rim and an extreme bumped response area makes the bimetal FiRROX stand out in a crowd!

While makers from around the world establish their own patterns in bimetal yo-yo design, the boys from Germany’s iYoYo have created an energetic new design with their FiRROX. The two features of this yo-yo that really make it stand out are the large bumped response area and the stainless steel rim that makes up about half of the yo-yo’s width! While the body shape is similar to the Hidra, the response area and overall roundness of the body have been refined to make the dense stainless steel as easy to handle as possible.

Although at around 65 grams the FiRROX isn’t a light bimetal yo-yo, the playfeel is undeniably smooth. Both starting and stopping the yo-yo is easy, and manipulating the mounted yo-yo feels controlled and balanced.

The FiRROX plays especially well with a thicker string, so we recommend K-String’s Fat or XL strings.
