Air Dive is the first off string model to come from German maker iYoYo. The design includes a thick rim, which gives Air Dive a sense of control during play that feels almost like a string trick yo-yo. That control is especially felt when performing regeneration tricks. Just a little effort sends the Air Dive flying high.
When you miss a trick with the Air Dive, it’s designed to have very little bounce, ensuring that your yo-yo doesn’t go all over the place while you try to recover it. Recoveries are more predictable, making the Air Dive a powerful ally as you dial in your freestyle.
For recaptures and boingy boingy tricks, the Air Dive feels like an extension of your body; with such fine control, there’s no trick it’s not well-suited for. The Air Dive approaches off string design from a new angle, and it has paid off!
