Turning Point : Acanthus S [FEATURED PRODUCTS from Tokyo Shibuya Store]

The Turning Point “Acanthus,” developed as a signature model for world champion Takeshi Matsuura, is now available in a new inner-rim bimetal model called “Acanthus S.” In line with the lineage of Acanthus which was developed as a model for 5A, Takeshi’s roots, this yo-yo is not only easy to use for 5A but is also highly suited for 1A.

While maintaining the maneuverability of the monometal version, the new bimetal version has gained strength and has evolved further. While its overall presence has become more solid, it still retains a somewhat soft feel. Although it is an inner rim, it adds more than enough power and sleep time, making it the best solution for upgrading Acanthus.

Acanthus S is easy to maneuver and extremely stable, while feeling moderately heavy. No matter how it is moved or where it is positioned, it is dependable and shows its presence. And despite its top-class usability, it has a simple appearance that does not make a too much of a statement. It is reminiscent of Takeshi’s cool and unobtrusive style as he performs high level tricks. Acanthus S is a model that shows us what it means to be a signature model and a yo-yo that can be used fondly and for a long time.
