Ryosuke Kawamura just totally made my week!

Shingo Terada remains one of my favorite 5A players of all time, and he was a HUGE early influence on the entire style of play. His 5A repeaters remain some of the hardest to pull of smoothly, as he reminded me last time I was in Japan when after an hour of struggling neither Petr Kavka nor I could do any of them.

Shingo Terada is still my go-to player when people ask me how to smooth out their yoyo play, and it’s exciting that he’s not only still competing (and doing well), but that he’s been practicing for 2015 Worlds!

Return top used is the CLYW Wooly Marmot 2.

CLYW Wooly Marmot 2 & Sasquatch newest run Now On Sale!

Today the newest runs of two of CLYW’s popular models, the Wooly Marmot 2 and Sasquatch, were released!

CLYW – Wooly Marmot 2

For the Wooly Marmot 2, out of the 9 colors available, Clareview Station and Solid Gold are reprints, while the other 7 colorways are brand new.

CLYW – Sasquatch

This run of the Sasquatch was only released in solid colors, with a laser engraved print on the side.
Since it’s rare for CLYW throws to be a solid color like this, in a way it feels really fresh!


Both models come with a CLYW sticker.
The design is an homage to the OBEY logo. Personally, I’d love a t-shirt with this design.
