Terrarian

terrarian

At 46.7mm wide, Terrarian is a wide-bodied full metal yo-yo.

Onedrop has collaborated with independent game studio Re-Logic to incorporate their yo-yos into the studio’s popular 2D sandbox game, Terraria. The game has sold over 2,000,000 copies, and features many yo-yos you may find familiar like the CODE 1 and Yelets. After defeating the final boss, you have a chance to get ahold of the Terrarian, the ultimate yo-yo in the game. Now you have the chance to get one in real life; onedrop and Re-Logic have collaborated to officially bring the Terrarian to life in the real world.

Terrarian has a step-straight profile reminiscent of the Benchmark 2014. At 46.7mm, it’s a pretty wide yo-yo, and the generous catch zone means you’ll be able to casually hit some crazy string tricks. It’s very stable, even compared to other onedrop yo-yos, and is just as good an option for general practice as it is for competitive play. It uses the side effect axle system, so you can customize the look, weight and feel of your Terrarian for an even more satisfying personalized experience.

Top Deck

topdec

Made from 7075 aluminum, Top Deck combines the concepts of the Cascade and Citizen, and is JT Nickel’s new signature model.

The name “Top Deck” refers to the face that with a stack of playing cards, just by changing the position of the card on top can completely change the circumstances, and pave the way to victory. This yo-yo embodies that desire to win, and is designed to help crush on stage, but doesn’t overlook the casual scene either.

Made from 7075 aluminum, the settings are based on those of the Cascade, combined with the weight distribution and excellent balance of the Citizen. The result is a 66 gram yo-yo that feels gloriously light during play. That lightness is equally matched by its stability, so you feel like you’re really getting the best of both worlds. There aren’t many yo-yos that feel so light that you’d think you need to return or regenerate it when in fact you have spin to spare!

The Top Deck is a really unique high-end yo-yo, but you’ll have to get one in your hands to find out for yourself.

Küntosh

kuntash

This model is based on the vision that was the last Anti-Yo.

In the mid to late 2000’s, the last fabled Anti-Yo was planned for release, but despite the few prototypes getting gobbled up during presale, making it nearly impossible to get ahold of, the production model never came to be… until now.

Working with the original designer, Sonny Patrick, onedrop has brought that vision back, crystallized with onedrop’s know-how. The name “Küntosh” is based on the French pronunciation of the Lamborghini Countach, an angular sports car that was popular from the 1970’s to the 1990’s.

Like the Format:C and Terrarian, Küntosh has a bump-less low edge, blasting right into its step-straight profile. The thick rim flattens out almost completely, so even at over 45mm wide, Küntosh has plenty of power. Compatible with side effects, you can easily change both the weight and the weight distribution of the yo-yo, giving Küntosh a very customizable playfeel, but there’s no doubt that it has a stout, stable feeling compared to other full sized throws.

The standard colorways are half-colors, but there are also special colorways available such as splash coloring. The standard colorway has linework of the Countach etched on it, either the front, mid-section, or rear section of the car.

Over ten years in the making, it took the collaboration of Sonny and onedrop to bring the story of Anti-Yo full circle, and will surely become a celebrated edition to the onedrop lineup. Finally, this piece of yo-yo history can be yours!
