Masamune
A special aluminum alloy and stainless steel are brought together for this historic bimetal model.
Even stronger and more durable than 7075 aluminum, but with a similar density, Alumigo Hard makes up the body of the Masamune, with stainless steel inner weight rings.
Sengoku is breaking new ground with the Masamune, the first yo-yo to use this special Japanese alloy. Forged and machined in Japan, the special materials used allow them to go even thinner than before, relying on the stainless steel rings to bring just the right amount of weight to the yo-yo body. The result is a wonderful combination of lightweight power and amazing sleep times. We think that anyone who picks up the Masamune will immediately sense the potential it has. Sengoku isn’t just pushing the boundaries here, they’re forging a whole new path for string trick yo-yos.
*As this is a new, experimental material that is harder to work with, the logo etching on the side may not be completely clear. There may also be some scuffing on the body due to the manufacturing process, but these should have no effect on how the yo-yo plays.

Hideyoshi
With a stainless AND brass rim, Hideyoshi is a trimetal yo-yo!
The field of trimetal yo-yos hasn’t seen much movement in recent years, but Sengoku set its sights to challenge the status quo. Using three different metals with their own qualities and densities, Sengoku has released a yo-yo that has barely been seen before.
One of the benefits of multimetal designs is that you can accomplish weight distributions that aren’t physically possible in a monometal design. While this is also true of bimetal yo-yos, trimetal design provides a whole new potential of feeling and balance.
With the stainless and brass rims, the resulting feeling is heavy, but inexplicably soft. This heavyweight feeling can only be attributed to the multimetal design, given the actual weight of the yo-yo. The rims don’t just add a sophisticated look to the Hideyoshi, they change the way the yo-yo feels during play that is sure to fascinate players around the world. True to their naming convention, Sengoku is making history with their lineup.
