My newest clip video for the REWIND Promo Video series is finished and ready for viewing! This time we’re featuring Steve Brown!
Not only is he a National Yo-Yo Master, but he gave birth to the play style known as “Counterweight” which led to the popular 5A Division.
Steve Brown is a long time player and has been a pretty big influence on the yo-yo scene overall. He is currently co-organizer of the Triple Crown of YoYo, and the manager of YoYoNews.com. He even recently gave a talk at Google!
As you may also know, Steve visited Japan to promote yo-yoing at Hyper Yo-Yo Events around 2004. I had been aware of him as a player since that time, so when I heard this year that he knew of me and my blog yoyonews.jp I was very flattered.
Wow, to think that I’d be making the promotion video for a famous player I saw on the stage 10 years ago…it’s like a dream I didn’t even know I had!
