How to Bind
Bind Strings
These are thicker strings designed specifically for bind-return play. Start by trying to bind with these thicker strings.
String Trick Oil
Most bearings in bind-return yo-yos come in a “dry” state with no oil applied. While this allows the bearing to spin freely, it also makes it more susceptible to dust and debris. Applying string trick oil to the bearing helps prevent issues and extends the bearing’s lifespan. One full drop is too much — apply approximately half a drop. Too much oil will cause the yo-yo to return with a simple tug.
As for how often to apply oil — it is generally fine to apply it each time you clean the bearing. If you experience any bearing issues, clean the bearing and re-apply oil.
Bearing Remover

Slim Size Pads
These are replacement pads for your yo-yo. Pads gradually wear down with use. As a general rule, visually inspect your pads about once a month, and replace them if they appear noticeably uneven or worn at an angle.
Yo-Yo Holder
A holder designed to carry your favorite yo-yo wherever you go. Simply hook it onto a belt loop on your pants — it works with yo-yos of any size, large or small.
Many people also clip it onto a bag, making it easy to pull out their yo-yo anytime, anywhere.
