Jet-Set EG

A Slick new collaboration model from two of the top makers in Japan, sOMEThING and Japan Technology!

This yo-yo is a collaboration model between sOMEThING and Japan’s premier off string yo-yo maker, Japan Technology. Based on JT’s JetSet EC, the EG has almost the same weight and size, but the shape and side face are considerably altered to give you a whole new experience. Because of the redesign, the weight distribution is greatly affected, designed to give even more stability and improve the sensation during regeneration tricks.

By increasing the yo-yo’s stability, the moment the yo-yo is released from the string during a regen causes less wobbling to occur, making the next trick easier to hit. In the world of off string where a minor miss can really throw the whole combo off, this new design is a huge boon to off string players.

All that aside, the EG’s lineage of the famed JetSet EC and Japan Technology’s flagship Eagle series, there’s no questioning the JetSet EG has the potential to shake the stage.

Jet Set EX

This ultimate off string model is a triple collaboration, between sOMEThING, Japan Technology, and Michael Nakamura.

First originally released in a small batch at the 2016 World Yo-Yo Contest, the 2013 4A world champion, Michael Nakamura had a hand in its design, following in the footsteps of the JetSet EG, designed by Japan Technology’s Atsushi Yamada. The EX has gained much love since its initial teaser, and already established itself as a high-end model.

This version makes use a stainless weight, making the JetSet EX spin crazy steadily. In the low 70’s, it’s not a terribly heavy yo-yo, which means it’s ideal for speedy play. It moves as if there were no weight ring. The design was intended to be as easy on the player as possible, without sacrificing any of the speed and solid spin. Look no further for an incredible off string yo-yo, you’ve found one!

Anglam One Remastered

The name that made sOMEThING famous, Anglam is back.

sOMEThING’s first flagship model was, without a doubt, the Anglam. There have been many versions, and there are players who have collected every one; they are just that good. This time, they have turned their eye back to the original Anglam, and applied the experience and knowledge they’ve accumulated over the years to make it even better.

The size is unchanged from the original, with just 1 gram shaved off the weight. The shape and inner rim weight designs have been tweaked to maximize its performance and playfeel, it’s incredibly fun. We heartily give our stamp of approval to this one, the Anglam One Remastered is a complete success!
