5-time Mexico National 1A Champion and 2-time Latin American 1A Champion, Paul Kerbel’s new promotion video is here!

In his freestyles, Paul really stands out with his stage acrobatics, but he is also known for his unique isolation (where the yo-yo appears to hover still in the air), picture, and slack trick combos. With his longtime favorite signature model, the Horizon, it seems like every time he gets on the stage he’s pulling off brand new fingerspin tricks. His incredible skill versatility allows him to create a performance that’s all his own. Paul Kerbel and his YoYoFactory Mexico teammates Luis Enrique and Betty Gallegos are certainly a driving force in the Latin American yo-yo scene.

Paul even won the 44CLASH Battle Tournament at last year’s 2015 World Yo-Yo Contest in Tokyo, Japan.

As we found out, he is also a player with great stamina. To shoot this PV we only had a short amount of time, so we had Paul running all over the place to get it done. He didn’t even break a sweat! It was truly a thing to behold.

By the way, though not included in the details of this video, in addition to 1A he also won the 2A, 3A, and 4A divisions at the 2015 Mexico National Contest. He can even speak a little Japanese! On the day before the THROWDOWN! final round, he answered much of his interview in Japanese, and also worked at hyping the crowd with skills other than yo-yo.

The yo-yo used in the PV is, of course, his signature model, the YoYoFactory Horizon.
