Radius

radius
Collecting data from players all over the world in search of the perfect specs, the Radius is built on a wealth of knowledge as its foundation. It’s also the signature model of Shion Araya, who killed it at 2015 Worlds in Tokyo and took 2nd in 1A.

In order to attain Shion’s ideal specs, C3 had to approach their design from a whole new ideological direction. The resulting masterpiece is C3’s new 7075 aluminum flagship model. The step-round Radius is perfectly suited for all kinds of tricks; it bursts with power but has a light feeling with a soft catch. The appeal of 7075 is drawn deeply from the body profile, and in a time when bimetal has come to dominate the field, Radius holds its own and performs with the best of them. At the heart of the concept, the Radius is designed to hit tricks exactly how you intend, and for it to become an extension of your body. C3 and Shion joined forces with players around the world, gathering a mountain of data to push their experience and know-how to the limits in the pursuit of perfection. The resulting yo-yo boasts power, stability, and tight control, and it fits so comfortably in the hand, many players immediately fall in love with it.

Also, thanks to the small straight step in the central body, regeneration-style tricks have a crisp snap that is sure to appeal to many players.

Blues

With wooden (yes, you read that right) weights, the Blues is a full metal yo-yo with adjustable weight distribution!

While the current selection of full metal yo-yos don’t need any customization to get top performance, there are players that prefer to be able to tweak their yo-yos to find the best fit for them. Blues is a new twist on that, giving players the chance to explore their ideal yo-yo design by changing out rim weights. Another twist in this design is that the weights themselves are made of wood!

This unique design weighs in at about 70 grams (64.5 without any rim weights), and the diameter measures in at an oversized 62mm. The balance between weight and size gives Blues a soft, smooth feeling during play.

The Blues was born from two talented former members of the Duncan Crew. The yo-yo itself is designed by Drew Tetz, and the side face artwork was done by Rodrigo Yokota.

We recommend using a small flathead screwdriver to help switch out the weights. See the video below for further instructions.

Igloo

The inner-rim bimetal Igloo is Michael Kurti’s new signature model!

The Igloo is the signature model for Michael Kurti, a 1A player who stands out even amongst CLYW’s amazing contest team. Continuing the legacy of the Blizzard, Igloo’s body is made from 6065 aluminum, and sports a stainless steel inner rim. The profile is very close to that of the Blizzard, but the difference in weight distribution has completely changed the way the Igloo plays. Even if you’ve thrown a Blizzard before, you still know nothing, Jon Snow!

Michael is well known for his incredibly difficult long combos, and the Igloo is built specifically to support that stype of play. Even when the yo-yo slows down, it maintains stability to let you squeeze every last drop of awesome out of your throw. Thanks to the bimetal design, you can test out almost your whole trick list with just one throw!

CLYW officially licensed with Dif-e-Yo to use their Konkave bearings, giving you the best possible settings out of the box!
